Solution

As a key element the NAT’s (the National Tunnel Authority emanating from the Egyptian Ministry of Transport and owner of the Cairo metro network) integrated multimodal transport strategy, the LRT (electric train) line is connected to Line 3 of the Cairo metro, already operated by RATP Dev, at Adly Mansour station. Interconnecting Line 3 with other metro lines will allow Cairo metropolitan residents and visitors to conveniently reach the New Administrative Capital.

RATP Dev Mobility Cairo wishes to offer the population of Cairo, of the new city 10th of Ramadan and of the new administrative capital a state-of-the-art service, in line with RATP Dev’s international standards put in place in major cities around the world (Paris, London, Hong Kong, Casablanca, etc.): punctuality and regularity, world-leading customer service practices and strong asset maintenance capabilities.

As was the case on Green Line 3, RATP Dev Mobility Cairo also aims to contribute to local employment and is committed to ensuring that at least 90% of its staff are Egyptians. The record has already been broken with 98% of local employees trained to the highest international standards in electric train operation and maintenance.
